Recently, the 1st Physical AI & World Model Forum was held at the Brain Intelligence World Incubator of Lingang Group in Shanghai. The forum brought together nearly a hundred guests from AI chip, 3D optical sensing module and robotics industries, listed companies and investment institutions to discuss the future technological development and market trends of Physical AI and world models.
During the forum, the Yulin Hui Physical AI Industrial Innovation Alliance was officially established. As one of the co-initiators, Hongying Intelligent jointly launched the alliance together with Lingsai Vision, Yizhu Technology, Yabohan Intelligence, Shanghai Lingang Sinan Semiconductor Super Incubator, Puchao Capital and other enterprises and institutions. The alliance aims to build a full-chain industrial ecosystem covering perception, computing power, modules, robot bodies, incubation and capital.
Mr. Wang Ganyi from the Investment Strategy Department of Hongying Intelligent delivered an on-site keynote speech titled Physical AI Transforms Profit Models. He stated that for more than two decades, the company has focused on technological innovation. Building upon electronic and electrical intelligent control technologies, it is fully developing an intelligent, electrified, connected and unmanned ecosystem tailored to real-world application scenarios.
In recent years, the company has strived to equip heavy-duty machinery including excavators, cranes, loaders, port machinery, aerial work platforms, fire engines and fracturing trucks with “smart brains”. It leverages AI algorithms to coordinate the five dimensions of manpower, machines, materials, methods and environment, delivering turnkey solutions for smart mines and smart ports.
At present, the company is prioritizing the integrated digital low-carbon smart mine solution. Targeting the goals of “safety, unmanned operation, high efficiency and low carbon emission”, it promotes unmanned and minimally manned safe operations in high-risk working environments such as deep mines and plateau mines.
Hongying’s in-house mine projects have operated independently for years and accumulated massive volumes of operational and working data. Through high-precision model training, inference and simulation, the system enables equipment active hazard avoidance, advance fault prediction and autonomous scheduling of unmanned clusters. This reduces the frequency of high-risk manual operations in mines and systematically improves mine work safety. Meanwhile, AI-optimized scheduling can substantially cut energy and operating costs for individual equipment, strongly supporting the green and high-efficiency upgrading of mines.
Participating in the Physical AI & World Model Forum and co-founding the industrial alliance marks another step for Hongying Intelligent to deepen its presence in the Physical AI track and advance industrial ecosystem collaboration. Going forward, Hongying Intelligent will continue to increase R&D investment in Physical AI, deepen collaborative innovation with industrial partners, accelerate the deployment of Physical AI technologies in manufacturing scenarios, and empower industrial intelligent upgrading with robust technological strength.
