September 2026 marks the 49th National Quality Month. In response to the national strategy for building a quality powerhouse, Smart Control rolled out a series of Quality Month activities from mid-September to mid-October, steadily advancing all quality management initiatives. Upholding stringent quality governance, the company adopts a zero-tolerance stance against all quality non-conformities. Through a full suite of practical measures including kickoff briefings, capability-building training, risk screening, quality competitions and cultural engagement, Smart Control ensures quality accountability cascades through all levels and delivers closed-loop quality improvements. Reliable products and services underpin the company’s high-quality development.
1. Group Mobilization: Kickoff Briefings Set the Campaign Tone
The Quality Month kicked off with an official launch meeting. Guided by the campaign theme: Refine Processes via Systematic Management, Strive for Zero Defects with Collective Efforts, the company’s senior management team attended the meeting to align priorities and galvanize the workforce for the month-long quality drive.

A quality breakfast forum was held concurrently. At the session, clear red lines for quality control were defined, demonstrating the company’s firm resolve to trace every quality issue to its root and implement thorough corrective actions. Attending managers were urged to anchor on targets and fulfill accountability, fostering a robust culture where everyone values quality, creates quality and elevates quality.

2. Integrated Learning & Assessment: Quality Management Training Boosts Professional Competence
During the campaign, the company delivered specialized training sessions for all employees covering ISO 9001 quality management, quality issue identification and escalation, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). The curriculum spans the full value chain, including quality system specifications, non-conformity handling workflows and upfront product quality planning.
Training adopted a combined learning-and-assessment model to reinforce knowledge and drive on-the-job application. It not only strengthened employees’ professional quality competencies, but also equipped them with root-cause analysis mindsets to prevent recurring defects, translating theoretical standards into practical operational capabilities.

3. Targeted Inspections: Establish Sustainable Closed-Loop Quality Governance
A comprehensive cross-departmental, end-to-end quality risk screening was launched across all teams and positions. Departments faced pain points and uncovered risks candidly, identifying quality hazards and executing rectification plans. The 8D (Eight Disciplines) problem-solving methodology was strictly applied for root-cause analysis, pinpointing gaps in management, process weaknesses and awareness shortfalls.
All identified issues were logged with dedicated owners and clear deadlines for closure. Chronic recurring defects that compromise product reliability were placed under priority supervision. In-depth reviews were conducted across policies, workflows, standards and execution to remedy weaknesses, resolve fundamental quality issues, and elevate the quality management system toward stricter standards, more rigorous implementation and deeper oversight.
4. Competition-Driven Excellence: On-Site Quality Contests Refine Craftsmanship
A self-inspection & mutual-inspection team challenge was organized for production line, warehouse and QC staff, embedding defect screening into daily manufacturing and inspection routines. Team members actively flagged issues covering standardized operation, incoming material inspection, finished product testing, defect recognition and rapid anomaly judgment, and tracked resolutions. The initiative guides frontline staff to embed quality standards into every working procedure and inspection checkpoint.
Winners of the contest earned entries into a lucky draw with casual lifestyle gifts, as well as premium tech prizes including tablets and smart home appliances. Incentives boost participation while friendly competition lifts quality performance, nurturing an atmosphere of benchmarking, learning and outperforming peers.

5. Subtle Cultural Nurturing: Multi-Channel Communications Embed Quality Mindset
Quality-themed display boards and banners were installed across the campus. Complementary digital assets including quality-focused desktop wallpapers and electronic warning posters of typical quality cases were released, building an integrated online-and-offline communication ecosystem. This creates an immersive quality culture landscape where quality knowledge is visible and accessible. Employees learn from real cases and warning examples, internalizing quality accountability into daily routines.

Quality Month is time-bound, yet quality improvement is an endless journey. Smart Control will maintain its zero-tolerance policy for quality issues, continuously refine and strengthen its quality management system, and sustain the cultural ethos of *Refine Processes via Systematic Management, Strive for Zero Defects*. By consolidating the quality foundation of products and services, Smart Control empowers high-quality, sustainable development with outstanding quality performance.
