From November 9th to 10th, 2023 Global Mining Electrification Summit was held in Shanghai. Manufacturers, suppliers and enterprise in mining, power system, energy and other industries were all present. The summit invited many heavyweight guests were invited from Huawei, SPIC, Epiroc, Normet, Zijin Mining and many other well-known industry enterprises. The event focused on hot topics such as decarbonization and electrification strategies for mining companies, energy transformation, infrastructure construction, new energy and battery technology . Ren Wei, the director of Hongying New Energy project, was invited to deliver a speech on the theme of "Research and Application of Intelligent Electrification Platform Architecture".
At the summit, Mr. Ren first exchanged views and discussed the development direction of intelligent electrification. He emphasized, "The intelligent electrification platform architecture is developing towards the direction of simpler structure, lower cost, higher intelligence and higher reliability, which puts forward higher requirements for the integration of intelligence and electrification."
Secondly, Mr. Ren showed the guests the intelligent electrification platform including 5T electric loader, 1T electric loader, electric sanitation truck, mining vehicle unmanned from Smart Control. In view of the industry difficulties such as poor operating experience, low degree of intelligentization, and the unique benefits of electrification which are not fully utilized, Mr. Ren shared the leading key performance of intelligent electrification products: First is the low energy consumption, lower than the industry average. Second are strong maneuverability, high gear shifting quality, the leading comfort of starting, acceleration and deceleration and maneuverability in extreme conditions. Third is accurate control, which can greatly improve system dynamic response and steady-state performance, enhance control accuracy and reduce energy consumption.
In the on-site speech, Smart Control intelligent electrification application cases were presented, such as comprehensive and intelligent integration application of electric sanitation vehicle, electric suction sewage truck powertrain, electrification system for cable-trailing pump truck, purely electric excavator powertrain with a variety of tonnage, powertrain system of purely electric loader & intelligent application, and powertrain system of electric drill rig, which aroused enthusiastic attention and discussion from the audience.
